DIGITAL DIVIDE

A term from the media. (The media? Just what the fuck do I mean by the media anyway?) Like one of those contrived concepts for a story projected out too many times—reused and tasteless, atrophy of novelty—but we have a name for it now so let's continue carrying it. Well wherever it comes from. Get back to the point...

They're talking about that growing cultural gap between those adapted to information handling... and those bereft. Handling-- I mean computers. Or whatever information processor goes there.

But there's a more important DIGITAL DIVIDE. Electronic information, information that has't been digitised. The fuziness of old underneath the net.

You gotta be careful when people use terms like ℑ.Τ. The tensions of old were between Good and Evil. But now Beyond that, the tensions are between Truth and Propaganda. Welcome to our domain of false information.
